Each year on the 3rd Saturday of September the Stirling and District Lions Club collaborates with the Stirling Rotary Club to host the Stirling Water Buffalo Festival. Stirling’s Mill Street closes for the day so that vendors can line the street offering food, drink and other goods featuring the Water Buffalo products.
The Stirling Water Buffalo Festival is a huge social event for the local area drawing upwards of three thousand visitors each year from all over South Eastern Ontario. Live music is played on the street, a Kid Zone offers bouncy castles, face painting and balloon animals and the admission is always free!
Each Festival is a lot of work but also a lot of fun. And oh so worth it!
