  1.  Each registered team will consist of three (3) members, at least one of which must be a licensed/registered Truck and Coach Technician (Ontario 310T).
  2. Except for the hand tools required for brake shoe and hardware removal/installation and brake adjustment, all tools will be supplied and cannot be supplemented.
  3. Each team will be supplied with one impact gun, a torque wrench and socket for the wheel nuts.
  4. Each team will perform a safety inspection with respect to the stability and security of the lifted trailer before the commencement of their "run”.
  5. The parts to be replaced will consist of brake shoes, hardware and brake drums.  These parts will be supplied on a skid at the "start/finish” line, near the front end of the trailer.  The parts removed from the vehicle must be replaced back on the skid by the end  of the competition, or a one (1) minute penalty will be assessed per part not replaced on the skid.
  6. Before the commencement of the competition, each team will inspect the parts to ensure all required items are supplied and in a condition for proper installation.
  7. The removed wheels and tires must be replaced in the same position from which they were removed.  Failure to do so will result in a five (5) minute penalty assessment per dual wheel assembly.
  8. All wheel nuts must be torque to 500 foot-pounds.  The judges will check two (2) nuts per wheel.  For each nut that is not within 20 foot-pounds of the 500 foot-pound requirement, a two (2) minute penalty will be assessed.
  9. Brake adjustment must be set by the licensed technician and will be within the legal requirement of 2’ of stroke.  Each team will be judged on this and for each wheel end exceeding this measurement, a one (1) minute penalty will be assessed.
  10. The judges’ rulings will be final and the total elapsed time including penalties will be recorded as the team’s finish time.
  11. The two shortest times wll compete head to head for the winning prize.
  12. The champion will be determined by the lowest elapsed time including penalties.
